I was born and raised in Mountain Home, Arkansas, a small town nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Next, I moved to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas. While at the UofA, I not only gained a B.S. in Public Health, but also a family within the campus recreation department. With the help of my incredible mentors at UREC, I realized my passions for empowerment, mentorship, and impacting the lives of others. These passions drew me even deeper south to Oxford where I am pursuing a M.A. in Higher Education/Student Personnel and furthering my growth in the realm of campus recreation. When I am not at work, I am working towards running a half or full marathon in all 50 states, spending time outdoors with my golden retriever puppy, drinking coffee, baking, writing, or reading a good book.
I hope to use my experiences and my writing to reach others and positively impact their lives.
